Create Your Own WEBSITE Business.

One of the first things to ask yourself is “Why do I want to Create your Own Website”, without making this decision you will not know in what direction to go and there are certainly a lot of these. (Directions that is!!!)

Type of questions you may find running through you head are:

1. Do I want to make money on line using the internet?

2. Do I want a site for my friends and family to follow?

3. Do I want to just set up a site for the fun of dong it?

4. Do I want to learn how to build a site to gain the knowledge?

5. How much time have I got?

6. How much will it cost?

These are only a few of the things that ran through my head when I considered setting up a site, there are hundreds more as you progress further into it.

Personally I found the whole experience exciting, with odd bouts of frustration.

I kept saying to myself, I can’t do this, I’ll never finish it-but do you know what I now have different sites and looking forward creating more websites.

If you do let these little set backs become major set backs then you will never finish any thing. Be positive and progress.

You need to be positive, look for ideas from all your family, friends and one of the biggest help around The INTERNET.  Decide definitely what your goal is and go for it, if I can do it at my age and lack of knowledge (believe me this was very low!), not an expert now but can find my way round also with the help of a good site that talks plain language its easier and as I said before really enjoying it.

 

OK Getting Started

Before you start you will need most of the following:-

1. A computer.

2. A means of connecting to the internet modem etc.

3. A domain name (optional).

4. Web space.

5. Program to compose your site.

6. FTP software.

7. Some really good ideas.

8. Time!!

9. Some good advice. Plenty out there!!!!. Beware of the scammers..!!!

 

You have taken that first step already by reading this. Well Done.

By reading and accessing this article you have already started covering some of these points.

You do not necessarily need a website it all depends on what you want to do.

You can obtain free websites (at a price they normally have loads of adverts with little control by you on content).

Free blogs these are easier to set up and to all intents and purpose are websites.

Or you can build your own this is my preferred method and is more rewarding to yourself.
